NPO 2027 onwards: Timeline and Eligibility Information

The National Portfolio is our regular funding programme for arts organisations, museums and libraries across England.

 

National Portfolio Organisations (NPOs) help communities everywhere to enjoy the best creativity and culture.

 

Some organisations in the current portfolio, known as Investment Principles Support Organisations (IPSOs) also provide development for the people and organisations that make up the cultural sector itself.

Youth Music - Next Gen Fund - Round 11

The Youth Music NextGen Fund offers young creatives grants of up to £2,500 to make their ideas happen.


The Youth Music NextGen Fund is for early-stage musicians and wider music adjacent creatives to invest up to £2,500 in their own projects and make their ideas happen. The fund is especially aimed at those whose lack of finance holds them back from pursuing their goals.


It's open to 18–25-year-olds (and up to 30-year-olds who identify as d/Deaf, neurodivergent or Disabled) who live in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.

PRS Foundation - Early Career Promoter Fund

Early Career Promoter Fund recognises the vital role independent promoters play in supporting the talent pipeline across England

 

The fund aims to help emerging promoters to do what they do best – book and promote shows to develop scenes, support artists and DJs and to reach and engage audiences locally, regionally, and nationally, and build sustainable careers in the grassroots music sector.

 

Those receiving support will be able to build their capacity, skills and networks.

Funds of up to £3,500 available

Albert Cooper Music Charitable Trust

The Charity provides funds for tuition; help towards the purchase of an instrument; some living expenses incurred whilst in full time or postgraduate education/studies at a recognised music college/university in the U.K.

 

The Charity supports students from 18-21 years of age. The Charity can only accept applications from those in full time study and holding a UK bank account. All successful applications are paid their grant/award by bank transfer.

The D'Oyly Carte Charitable Trust

 Access and participation in the arts for those who have least access to them with emphasis on choirs and singing to build community and bring people together.

• Support for charities seeking to engage with, and inspire, young people on the fringes of society through music and drama projects to improve their employability and diminish the risk of social exclusion

• Performance development opportunities in the performing arts for those in the early stages of their careers
